Technical university Lecturers begin an indefinite strike on January 6th, 2020 – Exams might be postponed

It seems the intervention through Government to the NLC to the leadership of Technical University Teachers Association (TUTAG) over emoluments of lecturers will boil over to affect students who are preparing for the end of semester examinations if immediate steps are not taken to reach a consensus between the two parties.

According to information in a leaked document dated January 6th, 2020, from TUTAG which has been signed by the President, has it that TUTAG will embark on an indefinite strike and will only call off the strike upon the fulfillment of the NLC ruling on the 28th November 2019.

In the document, the strike action shall affect, Teaching, Invigilation, and Making of Scripts.
