Summary: The Flash Season 3 Episode 19: The Once and Future Flash

In the episode, Barry Allen travels to the future in order to meet with the older version of himself who, according to Abra Kadabra, had already figured out how to defeat Savitar.

The plan is simple: get Future Barry to dish on Savitar, so our Barry can return to 2017 in time to save Iris.

…But things seemingly get ugly pretty fast when Barry learns that Iris isn’t the only one suffering in 2024.

With Wally in a wheelchair, S.T.A.R. Labs in shambles, and Caitlin still Killer Frost, Barry has to deal with a whiny, long-haired version of himself that doesn’t seem too happy to see him.

The episode will be airing in just over three weeks; The CW’s DC Universe will be on hiatus between the DC’s Legends of Tomorrow premiere next Tuesday and when Supergirlresumes on April 24.

Barry Allen has had enough of Savitar.  Enough to the point that he’s going to run himself straight to the future and in the preview for the next episode of The Flash, titled ‘The Once and Future Flash,’ we see him do just that.

The Flash heads to the future, where he deals with a future Barry Allen is a world after the death of Iris West.  We also see Barry talk to a Wally West that’s now in a wheel chair.  And of course it wouldn’t be an episode of The Flashwithout a pesky villain — enter Caitlin Snow’s Killer Frost.

The Once and Future Flash will air on Tuesday, April 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
