Organizers of the BAMA to honor Late Ebony with "Legendary Award"

Organizers of the Brong Ahafo Music Awards are set to give an award in honor of the late Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng popularly known as Ebony whose sad demise happened on the 8th of February 2018.

Late songstress, Ebony Reigns won the Artiste of the Year award at the 2018 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and was also adjudged winner of the coveted Kwame Nkrumah Artiste of the Year Award at the 2017 BASS Awards ceremony held at the National Theatre in Accra on December 28, 2017.

Ebony triumphed over the likes of Joe Mettle, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy who were all chosen for the Artiste of the Year award at the 2018 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards

Ebony was a native of Brong Ahafo and according to the organizers she was one of the biggest musical export from the region. She brought glory to the people of Brong Ahafo and entertainment industry. She may be gone but never forgotten in Brong Ahafo music industry and Ghana at large.

Her father will pick up the award on her behalf.

The maiden edition of Brong Ahafo Music Awards comes off September 21 this year at the Tyco City Conference Hall in Sunyani, the Brong Ahafo’s capital.
